Classroom Community

Porter Creek S.S. Our Classroom Community - Community is connections. 2020 - 2021 Ms. Robin Carrey Room 148 and 202 What does it mean to be a Ram? Ram Country That answer may differ from person to person, but we expect certain basics from all members of our school community.

Grade 10 - 12 Blended Learning

There is a lot of confusion floating around about the different types or models of technology-supported learning.

It is important to keep in mind that in Spring of 2020, due to a Public Health State of Emergency, brick and mortar schools in the Yukon had to very suddenly switch entirely to a remote learning model - it was NOT a blended learning model.

Having had some time to prepare for the return to school, still in an era of Public Health restrictions due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic, Yukon schools and teachers - many of whom have been using technology-supported learning for years (in various forms) are now moving to a more consistently blended model for grade 10, 11 and 12 students.
